By the time it's all said and done, the trophy case in Kris Bryant's home in Las Vegas will be slightly large, to say the least. After his first full year in the MLB, he has accomplished the 2015 NL Rookie Of The Year award, x2 All Star, NL Hank Aaron award, a World Series victory in historic fashion, and the NL 2016 MVP award. Not to mention all the minor league accomplishments. In 2013, Kris Bryant was entering the MLB baseball draft coming out of his junior year at University of San Diego where he raked on the field. As a freshman, in 2011, he had a batting average of .365, 9 HR's, and an on base percentage of .482. In 2013 Kris Bryant hit the most home runs in the NCAA since 2011 with an astounishing 31 HR's. He piled up on more awards including the Golden Spikes Award & Dick Howser Trophy. When the Cubs landed Kris with the second overall pick in the 2013 draft, It changed everything for Chicago. This isn't your regular #3 hitter, this is a one of a kind player that we don't see quiet often. The hype was unreal for Bryant to get called up to the big league. So hyped up that a guy who hasn't even stepped onto a Major League diamond got a billboard in Wrigleyville saying "Worth The Wait". Tell me when you've seen that before. You can't. If there was any expectations for Kris in Chicago, he has done everything to exceed them. From 3 home run games, walk off home runs, winning awards, stealing girls hearts, crushing dreams & baseballs, and being the Cubs franchise poster boy player. Kris Bryant is Mr. Everything in Chicago. Even with how good Kris is on the field, he's a class act off of the field as well. After Kris Bryant hit a HR in Spring Training he saw a 6 year old fan cheering him on. He went over to him & his parents and personally signed and gave the young fan the bat. You hear of egos all throughout these famous players but with Kris there is no ego attatched to him at all. He's always signing autographs, making time for fans, and just the role model everyone needs. From what seemed impossible years ago, The Cubs won the World Series. They broke whatever curse they may have had & shoved the goat away. It's arguably said, the Cubs turning point after being down 3-1 in the series, was Kris Bryant's game tying HR in game 5 of the World Series facing elimination. It was only fitting as well that KB fielded and threw the last out to his Zzo in Bryzzo to win their first World Series in 108 years. The scary thing is, He's only getting better. For the past 4 years Kris has progressed and he isn't done anytime soon. With the 2016 MVP award, he became the the 1st player in history to win College POY, AFL MVP, Milb POY, NL ROY, & MLB NL MVP in a 4 year span. (2013-16). Sit back & watch history in the making folks. KB is making huge noise and on his way already to become a Hall Of Famer. He has all the potential in the world to become the greatest Cub of all time. Yup I said it. He's not just Mr. MVP, Kris Bryant is Mr. Everything.
